Hi mse's Please can somebody out there in money saving land help me.
I am looking for some software that will allow me to pinpoint multi points on a map and then i can plan my day's / week,
Ive just changed my job and in my new job im given up to 100 calls to be made a week, the info' im given is postcode address etc,
Currently im looking up the streets on A-Z maps and plotting the locations on the maps and then working out my ideal plans from there, this is very time consuming,I am sure there is an easier way to do it than this,
Looking for a low cost option to do this.
thanks

I'm not sure how low cost you need but maplin are currently doing a great value GPS that will let you set up multiple stops etc. using post codes &/or addresses

Memory Map is an excellent mapping application that lets you plot routes and waypoints on a map and then upload it to a GPS. Similar software is Anquet and Tracklogs. The only trouble is the software can be quite pricey due to the licensing restrictions from the Ordnance Survey.
Memory Map also do A-Z maps which cost £25 an area. Are all your calls in one city or spread out over the country? If they're in one place it wouldn't work out overly expensive.
One question, if you need this for work shouldn't your company be buying this for you? It's my problem, it's my problem
If I feel the need to hide
And it's my problem if I have no friends
And feel I want to die0 -
Doesn't autoroute do this kind of thing?
I'm sure I remember a facility where you give it a whole load of points to visit and it works out the most efficient way of visiting them all.
This is a very common problem for busineeses like delivery companies so I'm sure there'll be plenty of solutions available0
