well i knew it was coming was made redundant on Friday and told to leave went in on Monday for my meeting getting paid my notice and redundant pay to be honest i wasnt happy there anyway nearly 8 years working there had new boss's in october and new place of work and it was horrible worked in a unheated damp and dusty warehouse asked for warm boots because i have a problem with my feet and they refused to get them for me been looking for a job since october with no luck signed on with the job centre now waiting to see a adviser which isnt untill the 12th i really want to do some coursers if i can to help get one a job because i really need a new job

Courses sound good. Don't forget to jot down what you've learnt from your old job so you can update your CV.
See if your local town has a job club, not run by the jobcentre, just a place where folks can get online, talk to each other, maybe get some advice.

sorry i'm dyslectic i do put alot more time going over my cover letters and get my husband to look through it slowly getting the hang of full stops.
Just checking you got 7 weeks notice and when was 8 years service?
Then definitely use the time to do a Literacy Course - many now have specialist Dyslexia tutors, with results that can be used beyond the course and in life.
ring your local college, local authority and ask about what provision they have between now and end of year, some have courses not advertised on website or in prospectus etc.
And look at the Open University too.
