Well from experience they wanted to check that I was rightly claiming JSA and not claiming whilst working but could be other reasons why you have been asked to attend.
Just be honest with any replies given0 -
Thanks, but surely if they wanted to know of any changes in circumstances they would send me a form to fill in, also i have to take passport, bills, bank statements and tenancy agreement. Got me worried!!!0

The DWP are seemingly applying Compliance Visits and or Appointments at the moment at random.
However if it is they have spotted unusual activity, for example in your bank accounts perhaps, this will also trigger this.
Conversely this appointment may also benefit you (no pun intended) as the Compliance Officer will look into your entitlements as a whole.0 -
largely random based on the massive number of queries on here.
However, do check whether your ex or anyone else is still on the electoral rolls, still using the address for an old account? That tends to pop-up on the Experian checks that are done on benefit claimants. If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -
It is either a routine check or a fraud inquiry.0
