My compliments to the customer services department at Budget insurance particularly Ian who did a great job sorting out a problem with an undisclosed claim from 3 yrs ago.
Once he had all the details he put me on hold a couple of times, explaining each time, then phoned a previous insurer for confimation of my claim history and sorted the whole mess out.:j I don't know if anyone was at fault or whether it was a bit of finger trouble on the data entry but he did a good job for me.:T
Excellent service. Many thanks.

I think the 31st of January will forever more be a paid holiday for Budget's staff in recognition of their first ever happy customer.0

I thought it was too good to be true
They have broken the DD guarantee by not giving me 10 days notice of a change of payment.
Now an updated welcome pack has arrived with the right NCB info but extra interest for the monthly payments and a £3 a month hike in premiums for the next 6 months :mad:
They say they will fix it but I can't really be arsed to keep chasing them
and to cap it all I've found I can get it cheaper.:D
Goodbye Budget :rotfl:0 -
I was insured with them for 2 years but I changed cars as you do, and thought was just a matter of updating them with new car info, but not, they refused to insure me again, why ?
did not say, newer car but same size of engine and same shape almost, and no claims made?....weird
I had to put cancellation in writing to them , I didnt want to cancel but to make sure I got the £37 quid back they owed me

If they've over charged you, then you can insist your bank immediately refund you under the Direct Debit Guarantee0 -

The overcharge is not a lot and I'll contact my bank tomorrow. I have done the letter of cancellation.:D..
Useless shower...I've better ways of wasting my life than constantly phoning them up.;);)0
