No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries in Feb

Hello everyone - it WAS a lovely funeral - such a beautiful, bright, sunny day for my beautiful, bright, sunny friend.
The music was an interesting but somewhat appropriate choice - McGuinness Flint's 'When I'm Dead And Gone' - that was her Mum's idea, apparently - 'Pie Jesu' and 'Time To Say Goodbye'.
I couldn't remember being given anything toiletries related by my mate that I could wear... Then, feeling a bit saddle - sore after my bike ride yesterday, I thought of something.
A pot of Sudocrem she gave me after one visit.
She would have laughed at that. :rotfl:Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0 -
UU
Murad Body Firming Cream, 100ml - WNBA, too expensive for what it is...which is just a lovely smelling body cream
ELF Mineral Facial Cleanser, 50g - WBA, makes your face really clean and good cheap dupe for the Dermalogica
Avon Beyond Colour Mascara Navy - WBA, nice change from black, not clumpy
So totals for month are
INS - 62
UU's - 44

Final UU for the month.
Sure Max protection deo WBA HG just wish it wasnt so expensive
Garnier Pure face mask WNBA didnt feel it really done anything for my skin
S&G bubble bath WNBA have several more in the stash but I like many others have overdone the S&G.
Clarins gentle exfoliator brightening toner - WBA and already have. I didnt think much of this using it as suggested by Clarins (once a week) but when reading beautymouth blog she mentioned she used it twice a day - I tried this and feel it has improved my skin.
So:
Outs 145
Ins a shocking 159

Ooh last post of this month for me!
2 UUs - Wilkos cotton wool - WBA as is cheap!
Botanics cleansing face gel - I am so happy to have used this up! Absolutely hated it!
1 TA - Ruby and Millie eyeshadow that had shattered too badly for me to use.
20 GAs - 19 for my mum's birthday - a variety of Clarins, Sanctuary, Elemis and Clinique goodies, and 1 to my bf - Toni and Guy hairspray which I never use!
I also have 12 INs! 8 were Clinique, but 6 of those 8 were freebies if that makes sense!? And the other 4 were a toner from Marie Claire, and sachets of hair oil, conditioner and shampoo free with the magazine.
So overall this month I have 5 less items than I started with. I've had 48 INs, but only 21 which I've bought, and I've spent £79.60. This seems like an awful lot for me to be spending on toiletries and I hope to get this down next month. I'm also making an inventory (which I've not yet finished), and whilst doing this I have to say that I'm very shocked at the sheer amount that I have. I'm looking forward to trying to get that amount down more next month.
hope you're all doing well!

Hello all!
mcculloch29 - I'm so glad your friend's funeral went well xx
Well I've just taken a shower using my Badedas shower gel/shampoo and I feel and smell like I've been doused in pine floor cleaner! So guess what? That's what the rest of it will be, I have this bottle and another, my skin feels terrible now! Horrid stuff!
I did however use the last of my dreadful Ted Baker scrub, all in all, NOT a good shower! :cool:No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2023
