  • Back from my awesome trip to london - I really need to find a way of moving down there!! x

UU: Clarins Cleansing milk with gentian - I have no complaints about this product, but I don't think I wba (it was a gift from my clarins SA), it just didn't do anything for my skin; however, it also didn't have an adverse effect either, so it's one of those "meh" products for me, but happy to have another UU.

Etude House BB cream - I'm making my ways through all these Korean bb creams, and so far nothing has really stuck out to me as a keeper. I'm still finding that I go back to my Dior BB cream as it's much more dewy for me and I happen to like that dewy/shimmery finish :)

One IN: went into Space NK to kill time before my massage and I ended up buying an Hourglass lip stain in petal aura - I'm loving it so much right now as it really stays on your lips and I need that as I can't continuously reapply lipstick thoughout the day.

Well I've ordered a load of stuff on BS Spring glitch. Not expecting it to be honoured but if it does I think there's 4 body butters, 2 night creams, 2 day creams and 8 hemp balms whatever they are oops

I'm quite relieved the glitch had finished by the time I saw the post, god knows what I would have ended up with! Though I was planning on mostly fragrance diffusers.....
    Thank you. :D

I admit, I feel off of the wagon.:rotfl: I bought some things without using up what I had.

Now I'm ready to get back on the wagon and tackle my toiletries and make-up stash! :p

Welcome back Lady M, I'm new so :wave::wave::wave::wave:

  • Hi, I hope everyone is ok. I haven't had a chance to catch up with the thread for over a week I think; manic at work and a recurrent problem that keeps sending me back to the dentist has just all knocked me off course!

I think everything that's going to go is now done for the month and so my round up over the last two weeks is as follows:

    INs

Boots conditioning nail polish remover pads. These are now stashed in the desk drawer at work after a near heavy chipped nail polish/client meeting fiasco. I've used them before and think they're very effective.

That brings my total INs for February to 22  of which 8 were purchased for a cost of £30.73, the remaining were either free gifts, presents from generous benefactors or samples.

    UUs

    Sure linen dry Deodorant
    No7 precision brow pencil
    Sanctuary relax body butter
Dove go fresh waterlily and freshmint deodorant SPRAY
    Jimmy Choo Flash EDP sample

A total of 18 UUs over the month.

All in all not brilliant as my total went up, but there is one planned purchase for March and otherwise I'm going cold turkey.

Hope everyone else is keeping on track!

Welcome back LadyM. I'm really sorry to hear you have been so ill, I hope it hasn't stopped you enjoying your little boy.

I sometimes wonder how some of the frequent posters who dropped off the radar are - I've seen some on FB, so I know they are alive & hopefully well.

Kaz disappeared though - unless you know different - as did EssexHebridean and Charlie, who had some numbers after her name (had just graduated; lived in S. Wales).

My friend's funeral is at 11 tomorrow. Hopefully all will go well, or as well as these things can go.

  • I hope the funeral goes ok tomorrow mcculloch x

I've been very quiet this month, life is keeping me busy. I have lots of INs that came courtesy of my Swap buddy (Hellooo!), so won't list them here, but I was blown away by the products I received, some stuff I've already started on and some I can't wait to start on! Little DD had fun helping me empty the box, and the packaging went to the cat! :D

I have a couple of TAs to declare though:

Avon 1-2-3 Minute mask - had this since FOREVER, went to use it for the first time in ages and it had gone all watery, so into the bin it went!
Also threw a small mascara bottle - 17 by Eley Kishimoto. It wasn't waterproof and had gone a bit clumpy. Has anyone ever got to the bottom of a mascara bottle?! Replaced it with a lovely small Chanel mascara from my swap buddy box.

It's a big deal for me to be able to throw away products since I'm such a hoarder and cling to everything. I have a few splutterers that should hopefully run out next month.

Looking forward to March and Springtime! :T

LadyMorticia - Welcome back and Congratulations.

And - hope everything goes smoothly today.

No further movement on the stash front for me so it looks like I have several products which are going to hang on until March, oh well at least I will get off to a good start.

I'm ending February with a flourish of UU

Herbal Essence tousle me softly conditioner - WBA did the job very nicely
REN jojoba facial polish - love this stuff, my skin feels great after using it and it lasted for ages
2 x REN day creams (small tubes) these were both very nice, I can't remember exactly which ones they were but they lasted for ages so very :money:
Sanctuary body wash - I love the smell of this but find it a little thick so watered it down a bit and then enjoyed, I have quite a few of these in the stash from Boots 75% sale.
S&G sugar crush - love this, both the smell and the scrubbiness. WBA

Big hugs to all that need them at the moment :grouphug: (I love this creepy hug!)

    Hello all,

Long time no see. Life has been manic and I kind of lost my MSE way but back on track now.

    In:
-1 shampoo and 1 conditioner (tresemme on offer at Asda, huge bottles for £2 each)
    - pack of facewipes (but they were needed as I'd almost run out)
    - 2 deodrants (freebies from BzzAgent)
    - 1 Hydrating gel (freebie - testing for Boots)
    - 2 lipbalms (needed though)

    Used up:
    - 2 bottles of shampoo
    - 1 deodrant
    - 3 lipbalms

Was tempted by the Body shop offer on the MSe newsletter but have resisted!
  • I've taken the liberty of starting up the March thread - hope no one minds!
