Well that was quick! Next UU to report Sanctuary Body Wash (250ml).

WIBA? No. I expected more, the way everyone raves about it. I can't say it was bad, but given all the little grains in it, I was expecting it to be a bit more exfoliating than it was. To be fair, it doesn't say that it's exfoliating on the bottle, but why put visible grains in it if it's not? The consistency was OK and it was nice and thick, but I wouldn't go too mad on it. The scent wasn't too strong, either, but I'm not sure if that's cos I had it for a year before opening it or not.

I have another bottle to use, but I think I will have a break before going back to it, and I won't be reinvesting in it again.

I seriously need to catch up on this thread!

One UU- Anatomicals shower gel- i think it had gone off- it smelled of sulfur.

I decided to pour it down the toilet and now I have a toilet volcano! It is positively spewing bubbles! Not the smartest thing I have ever done....

But think how clean the toilet will be when you get rid of the bubbles eventually....

    Ive had a few UU

Its amazing how stupid I've been....spent months if not the last few years organising, arranging, moving my stash and of course adding to it!! moaning about how it hasnt gone down!.........Just realised after joing this thread last month that if I actually use the things they do get used up quite quickly!!! LOL ........I've always asked for 'smellies' for xmas and birthday so this has been the main reason for my stash and also the boots 75% off sale.........I'm actually enjoying using my products now rather than saving them for a rainy day!!

this year was my first year of not buying myself anything in the boots sale and I'm hoping next year my stash will be gone (or under control) for a few treats.

so my UU - Lush bottle of shower gel (cant remember the name!!) i do find that they last a lot longer from Lush, I stock up in the sale so hoping I can justify buying more next year:-)

UU - sample bottle of lacoste Inspiration....errr think this was prob so old that it didnt actually smell! oh well clears a little more room for the others:-)

    Enjoy your Sunday all x

Hope everyone is having a good weekend.

    I have a uu

Schwarzkopf Live hair colour in Mahogany Brown

I have used it this afternoon and my hair is not really mahogany more orangy. Red hair colours usually fade down to a reasonable colour after a week of washing but this one is particularly bright.

This was the last hair dye from the stash so that is one area completely under control, at one time I had 8 hair colours waiting to be used.

Due to having just re-surfaced our bath I rinsed out the colour in the kitchen sink which was a nightmare so I have just informed DH that I will not be colouring my own hair from now on as it is too much faff and mess.

    Hi Maddie,

How do you find the Hydraluron? I have just read about it, and am wondering if it would be helpful for me, as I am trying to clear the remains of an allergic reaction that appeared on my face (not a reaction to skincare). I tried to get a sample from Boots, but that was the only product from that range that didn't have a tester :(

    Hi Ilona
The Hydraluron is a certain HG for me, it really plumps my skin up, I am of bus pass age:( and after weeks of high stress, not enough fluids, tiredness etc I was looking drawn and even older than my age (I previously had great skin). It is pretty ecomomical, start less and add more if needed, but a pea sized amount will do full face. I feels slightly sticky, but put it on bare skin and layer up with serum, moisturiser etc. See Carlone Hirons aka Beauty Mouth review 6th August last year. I need to use it wice a day, but less dehydrated find once fine. BTW I have extremely sensitive skin and have no reactions to it.

Afternoon everyone , doing my usually weekly catch up.

Condolences to everyone who's suffered a loss or had bad news recently, sending hugs to you all :grouphug:

Congratulations to everyone who's had some good news to share!

Ended up with nasty infection on my eyelid, thankfully coincided with being on holiday for a couple of days so no-one had to suffer the sight of me without make on! :rotfl: Antibiotic cream's worked wonders so should be back to normal for tomorrow.

    Progress this week...

    UUs
Baptise Blush Dry Shampoo 400ml - WBA but have got one more left in the stash.
Balance Me Moisture Rich Face Cream 10ml - nice and light but think my cheeks are a little too dry for this as it doesn't leave them feeling moisturised to probably wouldn't buy the full size one.
Miller Harris Terre de Bois EDT 50ml - Love, love, love! WBA but have lots of other perfumes to use up first!
Dr Hauschka Soothing Mask 5g - WBA, doesn't irritate my skin.
L'Occitane Shampoo for Coloured Hair sachet - Might stretch to the full sized version as it's not irritated my scalp, possibly because it doesn't contain SLS.

Ebay sales, just not my thing...
    L'Occitane Immortelle Divine Cream 3ml
    L'Occitane Angelica Hydration Cream 15ml
Nails Inc Porchester Square Nail Polish 10ml
    Clarisonic Refreshing Gel Cleanser 30ml
    Bioeffect EGF Serum 3ml

    Ins
Neal Yard English Lavender Bath/Shower Gel 100ml and Body Lotion 50ml. Didn't need them but the set was only £3 in Waitrose. And it was the last one on the shelf. And I've wanted to try this for ages. Sheesh, I can convince myself of anything! :o :rotfl: At least this week's a net out!

Have a lovely week everyone, fingers crossed it starts getting a bit warmer soon!! x

Oh god I laughed so much, especially when you said about lipstick on your teeth being really attractive!

I'm going to do my make-up later using your video as instructions, then post a photo on here, what do you think?
