Seeking a solicitor to take action against another solicitor for negligence

Anyone able to suggest a solicitor in N ireland that would
be willing to act against another solicitor with regard to professional negligence in a domestic property conveyancing dispute? I have tried a few but the general impression is that they dont like to deal with these issues.

Have you complained to the senior partner (in writing), if they haven't upheld your complaint have you referred it to the law society.

Try Kevin Winters, 20 Queen Street. The most successful firm of solicitors in Northern Ireland. Ask for Kevin Winters by name, tel: 9024 1888

Eh No. This is opinion, not fact.
  • Many thanks for your replies!
Have written twice to the firm, both ignored. Reported to Law Society last May and they are still dealing with complaint, not helped by the fact that the solicitor in question also seems to be ignoring them too after having provided an initial response to the complaint last August. Law Society cant help us personally with regards to specific issues of negligence etc and the 3 year time limit we have to take legal action will run out in September.

Cant tell you how annoyed and frustrated we are with this saga!

I will check out Kevin Winters.
    Many thanks
  • The firm has also ignored requests under the DPA to provide a copy of their file and have also ignored the Information Commissioners judgement that they write to us and advise why they have not been able to comply with their obligations under the DPA.

Have you suffered an actual loss due to the perceived negligence? Do you have legal expense cover on you home insurance?

In terms of income it's a fact. It's well reported on the news.
