I have eventually warmed up and turned off the heating.

Dinner is cooking and tomorrows lasagne is in the oven.

Had a call from a PPI company we had put a claim in to last year and we won :j:j although not as much as I had hoped for but at £789 I can't complain. Because the company no longer trades I went with a PPI company as at the time I was working and didn't have the time to look into who I should claim from. So I have to pay them i think £150 give or take a few pounds but should have just over £500 when paid. :j:j:j

I know I keep saying it but I am off to check the meters and report back.

elec sitting @ £34.35. When I put the £50 in it was already on emergency by about £3 so that means we have used in £13 in 7 days and given I had the elec fan on for a few hours today I think we are doing ok.

Can't find the key thing to open the gas box so will get OH to check this later.

  • House is a tip again :(

    Fibro is playing up :(

But on a positive note yesterday was a NSD :T
Today should be to, although I need a few food bits at the shops this comes out of my cash allowance for food so I won't be classing these as spend days.

Bank account is looking a bit poorly but still due CB and OH expenses so that should see us through till pay day.

Still need to check gas meter.

  • Yesterday I spent £22 on petrol but today is a NSD :j:j

Need to do a few washings as the basket is full and will need to iron.

OH has done 7 hours overtime this week :)

Not sure what to have for dinner tonight but have plenty in so will see what the kids want when they get back from school.

  • Started to feel very tired by late afternoon and came very close to calling in a takeway for dinner but I mustered enough energy to defrost HM veg soup and some lasagne portions. So I am feeling very pleased that I didn't spend £15 or so that I didn't need to.

Heating has gone off and I am not going to put it back on as the kids can wrap up warm and get into their beds to watch a DVD if they strt feeling the cold.

  • What a misserable day today, so grey looking outside.

Anyway plan for today is to tidy up, make a pot of soup and get my ironing pile down.

Out tonight with friends as it's one of their birthdays. Just going for a few drinks locally though I will drive so should save some pennies.

Dinner is Pizza, wedges and garlic bread. Will nip and get the kids some FF ice cream for a treat since we are off out tonight.

OH will check the gas meter for me today so I can see how we are doing with that and I will check the elec meter.

  • Gas is £28.80
    Elec is £28.85

Soup made, ironing done and a washing is on.

Kids are playing away and the house is fairly tidy so I am going to chill infront of the TV and do my nails for tonight :)

  • Had a great night last night and only spent £10 :j Have sore feet today though from all the dancing I did:)

Weather is awfull here. Snowing but not yet staying on the ground. Absolutley freezing so the heating is on and will be on till after dinner when I can get the kids bathed and everyone into bed.

Went to Lidl and spent £6.06 on a few bits. Dinner is to be sausage and mash with gravy and veg so looking forward to that.

Have done a washing but need to do another but other than that it will be a lazy day.

  • Been out shopping today as DS needed some football things so £24.45.

£108.37 left of my food budget for this month but the freezer is fairly full at the moment so shouldn't have to do a big shop till later on this week.

Elec meter is £23.50 but need to wait for OH to check the gas.

Bank account is looking very poorly :( really need OH expenses to be paid or we will be in our OD.

Need to also sort through the endless ammounts of paperwork we have and get it into some sort of order but this will take weeks probably as there is just so much.

Will need to put a washing on and do a small iron.

Dinner will be meatballs and spaghetti.:)

  • Dinner has been had and I made a victoria sponge cake while the oven was on. Had all the ingrediants and fancied something nice to eat later when watching tv.

Have taken pork out the freezer and will make BBQ pulled pork for tomorrow nights dinner.

Heating is off now and I wont put it back on tonight. Kids will be heading into bed soon so will be warm in there.

  • It's snowing and we have lots and lots of it:(

Not going out today. We have no bread but not worth getting wrapped up and plodding through the thick snow we have just for bread.

So today will be a NSD :j:j:j

Plenty to do round the house just need to get out of my PJ's first.

Bank is looking very very poorly OH expenses still not paid in  balance is £21.71.

Right best get a move on.
