You keep data on your computer. We all do. Whether it's holiday snaps,
banking details or a rare recording of the local school concert, it's all important to us. Everyone has their own important data - and we all have our own ideas about what's precious.
Safeguarding our files is essential. And with BT Digital Vault, it's possible to securely store and share your photos, files, videos and more online. You can use the automatic back-up manager to save you time and this way you don't risk having to remember to back it up yourself. The manual upload version, BT Digital Vault Basic* is free to anyone with broadband access so you can get 1GB of storage and try it, free, today.
As we are storing more and more online, BT announces the launch of The BT Digital Vault Oscars in association with goodhousekeeping.co.uk. These awards are designed to show the huge variety of information that we all store, and to remind us that secure online storage is important.
It's a competition to find the most innovative and the most surreal examples of sensitive, sentimental and precious data, photos or files. Winners of each award will be given one year's subscription to BT Total Broadband Option 3** and BT Digital Vault (20 GB)***, worth over £400.
Here's how you could win: BT is looking to award a Digital Vault Oscar for...
Best Director - submit your funniest / best video along with a description of it in less than 100 words
Best Photographer - do you have a digital photo you're really proud of? Send it to us with a description of it in less than 100 words
Best Digital Heirloom - have you kept the oldest thing you ever stored on your computer? Like the first email you ever sent? Send it to us with a description of it in less than 100 words
Biggest loss award - have you lost something really, really valuable from your computer because you didn't back it up? Tell us about it in less than 100 words

bit more from the T&C's so the OP wasn't too long
