Rebuilding Credit - change credit card?

I've been using a Vanquis (40 credit card since March last year, spending a bit paying off in full each month.

Lloyds TSB appears to be offering a 'guaranteed acceptance' with a much lower APR (. My question is, am I definitely going to be accepted on to this card?

Is this likely to improve my score if I close my current card and take this one and still use it in the same way?

Maybe try getting the Lloyds one before you do anything else. Once you've got it for definite. then you can decide if you want to keep Vanquis or not.

If you're using Vanquis mainly as a credit building tool then running it alongside the Lloyds CC for a while won't cause you any problems.
