ive not got my jsa today...i phoned them up and was told no evidence was put on, so she did that for me and said she was sending a email to payments and it would be in me bank for 4oclock today dose that sound right and will it go in for 4 today as i have a newborn baby and she said they dont do counter payments no more ???

Yes it's correct they don't do counter payments any more, the same thing happened to me 6 times in a row and each time I had to phone and was told the money would be put in my account via faster payment by 4pm and every time it's gone in by 1pm so keep checking your account.

If its not in by 4 then ring them again

This happened to me once, the jobcentre forgot to process it. The benefits office will make payment into your bank after 4 hours, but a payment was in my bank with an hour.

It happened to me twice and on both occasions I got a call back to say it would be in my bank by 5 o'clock. And it was.

Hi, they will make a FEP (faster electronic payment) at your local JCP. Once processed it takes an roughly an hour to hit your bank account.
