Nissan Note

My father just phoned and said his friend (in his 70s) has just been told he can't drive his car any more (diagnosed partially blind).

The only information he gave me was that it was a nissan note automatic on a 58 plate with 13000 miles, his friend has had it frm new and will sell for £4,000.

I have no experience of the nissan note and currently drive a "W" reg daewoo matiz that I have had from new.

Without much more information, this seems a good deal. Any thoughts?

Might find it has a few "low miler" issues but it sounds a bargain. At least being an auto he won't have fried the clutch.

You may find you have a bit of hassle taxing it if it is on disabled but its only a case of having to go to the local DVLA office.
  • its almost as if it were new with those miles, and at 4k is a bargain indeed as 2007 with 55k miles local is £4995.

what i would do here is do a service on it straight away low milers are genrally local run abouts that dont get upto temp properly making problems in the long run.
  • Well a Nissan Note is a good step up from a Matiz, both in terms of quality and of course it'll have a much better spec. The Note is safer in the crash tests. The Daewoo Matiz has only 3 Ncap stars, Note has 4. Highest score available is 5.
