United Friendly or Unfriendly

Hi all,

my mother set up an account with United Friendly (Life Assurance) for me when I was very young and I took over paying into it 3 years ago by DD however I took it by faith that my mother has done the right thing.
Has anyone had any dealing with them in the past? Should I carry on with them or Freeze my account and start with another?

United Friendly were once big on the home service front. After being taken over they no longer exist as a separate entity and closed for new business about 3 years ago. Your mother must have been one of the last to take out a policy with them.

They had a range of policies so we cant tell if you have a fair one or not. It wont be a good one as nothing of theirs is but they have some average plans but most appear dated, expensive and poor quality when compared to modern products.
