seresto collars - is there an alternative to spraying everywhere?!

Tom cat happily sleeping with his collar on - he was the trial of the collars. More sensitive tabby scratching with hers - she has the telltale black mark on her white chin - fleas still biting her:mad: - can I give her Program suspension as well to stop the blighters having a last meal on her or shall I stick to anti-histamines & spray & scrub the place to sort out lurking fleas in the flat? Note: I haven't even got carpets for these things to bed down in can they be in curtains?

Fleas can reside in cracks and crevices, in skirting boards, beneath floor boards, in soft furnishings such as curtains, cushions, in settees etc. if you have a vacuum cleaner, give everywhere a good going over with the nozzle on the extension bit. Also steaming with a hand steamer over all soft furnishings is good too.

I'd get a household flea spray such as Indorex & hoover also, remember it can take a while for all to be gone. Would then see about a vet grade flea treatment & ask the vets when is ok to use it, would never ever use a flea collar, they don't help at all & can make all the fur go from round the neck
