With the UK FTSE.
http://www.moneyweek.com/news-and-charts/market-data/ftse
UK Stocks are starting to give the first sign in yonks!! that they might be in the early stages of a long awaited Bull run.
Saying that the FTSE has climbed about 40% from its 2009 low, could we be heading for the magical 7000 level now.
Japan is even looking a little better after so many false recoverys.
Investment money could well find a new home soon:)

I don't know. We should consult our resident expert. Here's what he said 5 months ago.
By the way I cashed in my shares last week. If the FTSE rises well over 5800 in the next few months I would be wrong but I don't think that will happen. 5300 here we come.

Did people take so many all or nothing bets before the internet?
You'd think someone with a history of getting it wrong would be a little more cautious.
At least it's only Moneyweek.0 -

Love it!!
Another brit gem
Add that to the famous (oft repeated) prediction of 50% falls in house prices, and buying gold in Q3 2011 just before a 30% drop - that makes a hat - trick of idiocy!
What a result!

Markets look ahead. Consumers look at today.
Ony consumers are chasing the bull. Many fund managers are taking profits while expecting a dip.
Corportate earnings have been disappointing recently. Main results season starts soon.0 -
many companies have loads off cash
many are paying good leveld of dividens (above what you can get in 'safe' savings accounts.)
our unelected finance managers (BoE) are planning major inflation.
makes some sense to invest in assets0 -
Just remember that the last time the FTSE was at this level was just before Lehmans went bust in 2008.
Auspicious or what?0 -
Ah the heady days of 2008, it genuinely looked like we where headed for Armageddon then.0

Yes, he is wrong
Sometimes I get it wrong too.
The issue with this poster is he spreads his 'wisdom' all over the forums, including the house buying and investment boards, advising forum members to hold off buying property, sell this or that asset and other disastrous financial advice. This is a moneysaving forum and therefore it's right to expose this poster as a complete muppet. The thing to understand about Mr Pricklepants, is that his surname is lepants.
Ouch that hurt. I have the feeling you are someone who needs the last word though, therefore I won't be replying to you.0
