M&S Refund? - bought online. will my Printed Receipt do ?

Doing a refund with M&S, the item was purchased online., and collected in store.

I want to refund the item, I dont have a receipt though, but

I have the online screenshot of the receipt.

Can i use this as an official receipt, by printing it off, and use it for my refund ??

or they wont accept that ?

  • You could try that. But didn't M&S send you a receipt by email?

Didnt M&S stop giving refunds out (unless faulty) a while ago or was that just over the xmas period?

Surely DSRs apply - it was ordered online.

When you picked up the item, didn't have a delivery note in it? Whenever I've ordered from them it I've had a sheet of paper in with the order.

How long was it since you received it? As I (believe) that DSRs give you 7 working days after receipt to return.

Did you get an email confirmation of your order? If you print that out then that will be fine.

Op seems to have said the purchase was made online.
It appears to be only the collection that was made in store.

If the payment was made online, then Distance Selling Regulations do apply since the sale was made at a distance.
