just moved into an all electric flat.
we have a water tank that heats up overnight but our heaters are individually controlled convector heaters.
we heat the rooms we want to heat and when we want.
im wondering whether economy 7 is worth it as we do not have heaters on overnight.
any advice appreciated!!!

Probably not. You have to be using about 33% of your electricity during the 7 (night-time) cheaper hours to benefit from E7. That's why storage heaters work the way they do.
If you don't have storage heaters, you're unlikely to benefit.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the In My Home MoneySaving, Energy and Techie Stuff boards. Agree with the above in that you are unlikely to benefit.
However the percentage of electricity used during the 7 hours at night varies greatly by area and the company you use.
It can be as low as 20% and as high as 40%0
