Thought I would give this a go. Total cost including postage is £3.00. I know it is past bulb planting time but will put them in when they arrive and hopefully reap the rewards next spring. Haven't a clue what will arrive in the package!

  • Hmmm. If you look at their list of bulbs - http://www.bloomingdirect.com/garden-plants/autumn-planting-bulbs - their "£10 worth" of bulbs might equal not much more than 30 daffodils. Given that you're taking a risk by planting so late, I wonder if it is worth it.

I will let you know what actually arrives. I thought it worth £3.00 as I am a sucker for spring bulbs.

Just arrived home to find my bulbs have been delivered today. 15 Red tulips (very good sized healthy bulbs), 20 mixed fresia and 20 mixed gladioli. Quite happy with value for money. However, I did think I was getting all spring bulbs so the fresia and gladioli are a bonus.

I Bought some bulbs (summer flowering) today from pounds land here
they seem very good value when i looked at the equivelent bulbs on thompson and morgan and some of the other websites, however the choice is limited but the bulbs seem ok and can be planted now.
