My partner doesn't need to complete any self assessment and has been paying Tax/NI for many years now - all fine.
However, she needs to produce proof to the EU country she was from that shows she was paying Tax/NI in the UK since she came to the UK.
To avoid sending off any of her payslips/P60s to another country, can she ask HMRC to produce a letter confirming they have received her NI and Tax payments over the last x number of years?
Thanks

Is this any help. She might be able to request a statement of her National Insurance account onlineThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Thanks. This looks like what she needs. Do you know how long it takes for them to issue a letter?0

That's only for her National Insurance contributions and so if she wants her pay and tax also she needs to contact the taxes helpline. Taxes records are not kept for as long as National Insurance records. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
If she wants statement of employers/earnings and tax paid she will need to ring HMRC tax department -
