Huge increase to DDebit by Scottish Power
Scottish Power sent me an email to say they were increasing my montly DD from £69.45pcm to £126.00 pcm. Yup, that's right. No typo there. A 80+% increase. I challenged them. They said readings showed I'd used quite a lot of gas & electric. I said "It's winter!" and pointed out that it'll balance out in the summer. I'm on their Fixed Price to March 2014 deal - but this will break the bank. It's totally unaffordable. What should I do?
