My parents bought funeral plans from AgeUK. They paid monthly so didn't have to find a lump sum.

When Mum died, everything was handled very sensitively and smoothly.
  • Thanks Mojisola.

I have their info but wondered if there were any other options or personal experiences.

    Kind Regards

  • My Dad took out a funeral plan with the Co-op and they were really helpful as he passed away just 6 months after taking out the plan. It didn't cover the whole of the funeral but quite a big chunk of it and it meant we didn't have to pay a deposit out of our own money when arranging the funeral. I think you can pick up an application form in store or do it online hope this helps x
