Has anyone used Deal of the Day Holidays?

Hello

Has anyone booked a holiday via Deal of the Day Holidays?
I found thier details on icelolly.com when looking for a cheap holiday but wondered if anyone had booked with them and what thier experience has been?

They have got some great deal advertised and I understand they do not include luggage (only 10kg hand luggage) or any transfers. But even when you add in the cost of these thier prices are still really good.

Any advice would be appreciated.

What is the deal they have? I haven't heard of them so I really don't know. I thought I would respond as no one else has. :j

This is just my experience with them last week, which doesnt mean its the norm.
I saw a holiday to Cyprus with them price advertised on Icelolly was £248pp I phoned them to be told actual price was £268pp not happy but said go ahead, I wanted 1 suitcase in the hold was told would cost £50 each way then add £12pp admin charge which made the holiday £330pp I asked them if they could hold the holiday for me for less than 1hr, said I would give them £100 deposit to prove i'd call back, they said they couldnt do that. I rang off & called them back less than 30 mins later to be told the end price for the holiday would be £425pp of course I declined.
I then went to Ryanair got the same flights for £117pp + 1x suitcase £30 went to lowcostholidays got the hotel room for £355 so in the end got the holiday for£310pp not as good as £248 but that holiday was never there in the 1st place
just my own experience doesnt mean thats the norm

They have a trip on thier website as well as on Icelolly for £213 for 7 nights all inclusive from leeds bradford airport to Fuertaventura staying in Costa Caleta hotel. I rang to get some further info as was told only includes hand luggage- hold luggage would be an extra £60 each and no transfers included which im not worred about as hotel is only approx 7km from airport so could get taxi. So would be £273 each for 7 nights all inclusive which is working out cheaper than buying flights and hotel seperately.

Just wondered if anyone had booked with them and encountered any problems as some reviews online seem quite mixed.

I'm also interested if anyone has used them as they are seeming approximately £50pp cheaper than the best deal i have for a holiday i want to book.

I looked them up on tripadvisor and there are some terrible reviews, but then some 'they done the job' type ones.

The last company i used had very mixed reviews and turned out to be great but i'm worried if i book i'll be a horror story.
