My husband got his P60 through and on it it says he earned 3k more than I have ever told the Tax Credits... so, it says he earned almost 34k last year....
... and is this figure the final one? With pension contributions deducted already???
I am gonna throttle the !!!!!! when he comes home.. he has always been very vague about what he earns and has never filled a form in or done anything... and never had much to do with Tax credits so until he gets in, he wont realise the seriousness of being vague!!!

I always thought my P60 was my total pay before tax, ni and pension contributions.
Did he get a pay rise during the year, my pay rise is in Aug and it always makes me look like I've under estimated when I cant help it.
I hope its not as bad as it seems right now but I can understand you being so annoyed, I'd be!
Get a glass of vino and relax before he comes home, it could be worse, no really! it could! lol
All the best

I beleive that your P60 is GROSS TAXABLE pay. Therefore any non-taxable pay (ie pension/childcare vouchers) will not be included in the gross figure - I am not 100% sure of this.
However Cathy, I'm not sure how your P60 can make you look like you have under estimated your earnings - did you not inform HMRC when you received your rise?
