    Both me and husband are fine now, took about 3 weeks for us to get totally better. We have made a complaint to Thomson although don't think we will get very far with it. I think its one to put down to experience, its a shame as its put me off going abroad again

    Have to say am very surprised at how rude some people (814man) are on these forums - I didn't realise that they were used as a means of arguing with complete strangers

    I must say that 814man had got a valid point but he certainly could have phrased it in a more diplomatic way.

    Hi Thanks and glad you better now.

    DH still in hosp but I think now after the investigations that it was probably coincidental that we had just returned from hols. Looks like he may have a gall bladder prob so could be the coincidence has expedited his investigations. IV fluids have had a huge improvement for him and he will hopefully be home tomorrow with a care plan for going forward.
