How do I block a buyer on ebay?

Just had a bad experience and don't want it to happen again!

Many thanks for any help.

someone correct me if i'm wrong, but i believe if you leave them a neg, you will see a link on the confirmation page (confirming the neg that is) saying something like add buyer to blocked bidders list

    also, check out http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/sell/manage_bidders_ov.html#blocking

You can block up to 1000 User IDs, so if you have beef with more than 1000 ebay is of no help (i doubt nyone would reach uch a figure though!)

Go in to My eBay, My Account, Preferences, Buyer Requirements and you should be able to block them there under buyer requirements exemption list at the top of the page

Hi, if you click on the help pages on ebay and do a search for 'block buyers' you will find it from there. This is how I go about it although there could be an easier way.

Blimey - just the one will do me!

I have about 350-400 people on my blocked bidder list

I doubt they all need to be on there though, have just accumulated over the last 5 or so years

You don't have to leave a neg everytime you want to block someone but I take your point.

You don't have to leave a neg every time you want to block someone but I take your point.

was just presuming that for them to be added to your blocked bidders list they must have committed a dead worthy of a neg!
