I would wholeheartedly agree with this. I too used to be like you and wouldn't use credit cards. However I do now have one which I use for large purchases over £100 as they offer better protection than many debit cards. I always pay it off in full each month though so get all the benefits of the card without incurring the astronomical interestIn my opinion you would be wise to review your stance.

If your debit card was a Visa brand, you may well still be covered as there is a Visa customer service guarantee - it is promoted by Visa alone, it s not a legal requirement, which is why MC users are stuffed!0
