Completed Lump sum IVA, but HMRC bill

Hi All;

I am interested if anyone has any experience of this,

I had a lump sum IVA approved and completed last summer.

I am now completing my self assessment and I have realised I had some work in 2011 that is taxable, that I forgot to include in my IVA.

My IVA was equivalent to 9p in the pound. The work was carried out before my IVA was agreed and completed. I believe that HMRC must abide by the terms of the IVA, since the amount owed to them is a minority when compared to the rest of my debt that the 9p in the pound was agreed to.

I fear though that I may have a fight with HMRC for them to understand this. I may decide to go over the deadline.

Any war stories on this appreciated.

Rich
