ok so clening inside pc hasnt work or updating drivers
but ti works fine fine in safe mode so have you tried to roll back your drivers
because ive had problem before where during an update my ethernet driver also was updated and then my ethernet wouldnt work anymore till i rolled it back to the previous driver
but your computer does sound like it does have a few problems since the usb dont work on it either
if you do try and get a pc you can sometimes get good cheap ones from facebook selling sites my friend was able to get a small form quad core pc for £100 and it works fine even after 4 month0 -
mrathb - thanks for your reply.
Roll back the drivers on ethernet? Not tried. Worried I would mess up the router connection as it took days to sort out the settings.
We have just bought a refurbished PC with Windows 7 and 4gb RAM. We wanted a second PC anyway and it was around £100 - it will do for now and once set up, I can be a bit more brutal with this ailing one.
Yesterday the poorly pc worked for around.d 6 hours in the evening but started playing up again when I first started it today.
It's been working for the last 4 hours....it seems to start working after trying for a few hours....no idea what that means.0
