Depends on how sheltered your garden is. We still have a risk of frost, and the nights are cold. I'm not taking any chances - my seedlings will stay indoors until later this month.

Planted mine out last week - they had been hardened off in the cold frame. You can pop another seed in next to them as an insurance policy and/or to prolong the season of your picking

My beans have been outside for just over a week, although in pots. If I hear there might be a frost, I either put the plants in smallish pots in the shed if the greenhouse is full, or cover them with fleece. If it helps, I am in south staffs, by the west mids border and some of my crops have been planted out for a while and have been just fine.

Planted mine out a few days ago but have covered them with large mineral water bottles with the bottoms cut off, just in case of frost. Also, although it's very sunny at the moment, there is also a strong wind which can be very dehydrating for young seedlings and beans especially dislike windy conditions.
