ESA Questions, royal mail sorting it ?

When you post it via the post office, and Royal mail handle your claim, do they Unstaple the medical evidence, and sort it into piles etc? - unstaplling the claim pack?

or they just
1) open your envelope
2) Place it in the category of your Atos region/ postcode
3) Send it to them?

what does it actually mean when people say that Royal mail, when received your esa claim 'sort' out your claim/process is?


and what type of confirmation is done, to confirm that they have received your claim? do they write to you (Esa) to say that they have received your claim and are processing it ?]

RM dont have anything to do with you or your claim
they simply receive,sort,scan(so ATOS have electronic versions) and then deliver the original hard copies to ATOS

No, ATOS do not contact claimants to confirm receipt of the forms.
