Problems logging onto Ebay with Mozilla Firefox

Hi,
Can you please help - I am having terrible problems logging into Ebay using Firefox.
When I input my name and password and then click on connect, nothing happens and the computer locks up.
My only option is to restart.
I do not not have any other problems logging into other sites.
I have tried Google Chrome but find it very slow.
Can anyone help?

try Options, Advanced, Network, on cached web contents select the clear option,

Hi,
Thanks for the advice which I have just done - unfortunately the same thing just happened and I have had to restart again!
The computer says that 'firefox is not responding'.
All very annoying!

Hi,
I have just used windows internet explorer and got straight into my ebay account so it is definitely an issue with mozilla.

Do you have Rapport running ?

I have found that system appears to lock up when logging in via Firefox to sites like Ebay and banks. But if you wait it cointinues. Think it worked ok in chrome.

I've now switched Rapport off.

great advice - thank you - i updated rapport to the latest version and got straight onto ebay - you are a star.
