  • I would roast it - make incisions all over and stuff with whole galic cloves and sprigs of rosemary. How long to cook it depends if you like it well done or a little pink - let us know and we can give you some cooking times

  • Above sounds perfect. I have found if you cook in a slow cooker (providing you can fit leg in dish?) it's tastes wonderful but doesn't carve very well as it falls off the bone which is great but if you are looking for presentation = 0/10!!!

Roasting also came to mind for me, served with dauphinoise potatoes. However, I'm a vegetarian so I'm not sure if that makes my answer invalid! A nice freebie - enjoy!

I would roast it with garlic and rosemary too, it's a nice tender cut, it would be a bit of a shame to put it in the slow cooker.

Yep, definitely roast it. Slow-cooking would be more suitable for a shoulder of lamb (although you might be able to slow-roast a leg).

I was going to suggest lamb boulanger, which cooks the potatoes as well, but the Good Food recipe is for a 2kg leg of lamb, so you'd need to adjust the cooking times...

This is making me hungry. Luckily we've got lamb tonight. :D

    I would roast it.
Season with salt and pepper, put in oven at 220 for about 20 mins, then turn oven down to 120 for 3-4hrs. Mmm delish!

Maybe you've already cooked it but I'd slow cook it and use spinach and make a curry. I like lamb best in a curry. I've been looking for a leg of lamb on offer in the shops for AGES. Lucky you.
