Hi,
I signed up to Primus late last night on the MSE recommendation on the page for home phone / broadband deals.
I got the e-mail shortly after confirming my direct debit details etc. and that if anything is wrong just to call them. Well, there are problems and for the life of me i can't get in touch with them. They've signed me up for 12 payments of line rental when i wanted to pay it all in one go.
I have an 0800 and an 0207 number, which do you guys have better luck with?
I read the T&C and it says I have 14 days to cancel if i e-mail them. I e-mailed then to cancel and no reply.
I'm now stuck in limbo with this company, that seem to be getting a lot of bad press and are no longer recommended on MSE.
Any tips guys on what to do? I need to get rid of this company and find a replacement asap. Currently with sky and want to get rid.

See the other threads on this topic. You are well inside the cooling-off period, so your rapid cancellation should cause no issues-you will remain with Sky.
But I'd cancel your Primus DD just in case.No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -

I litterally can't get in touch though. Rang 4 times today (waited upto 10min) and 4 e-mails. No replies to either.
Infuriating. Not sure wether to apply to tesco in meantime or wait until i hear from them.0 -

You already have 'got in touch'. You have sent your email to cancel. As long as you retain that email, there should be no issue. If they were to continue to process the transfer, you'd get a 'sorry you are leaving' letter from Sky.
No one can get through to Primus at present, see the other threads on this.No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -
Well i've sent the e-mail and no reply and have proceeded with signing up to tesco last night.
Hopefully when Sky send me the letter it highlights who the company taking over is. I don't want to accept Primus by mistake.0
