Flipping heck talk about dramatic! I have family and friends who have been doing this for years and two friends who own their own letting agencies, this area of housing is booming, not declining you fool!!!
Yes the issues you mention exist but it's the exception rather than the norm and the gains far outweigh the occasional slap of paint and new carpets!
That's why you ensure legal documents are carefully made, management companies chosen wisely and tenants vetted properly.
As for the property crash, you seriously have to be having a laugh. You don't even know where this house is, why I chose it or what value i've purchased at, never mind somehow having a crystal ball about house prices.
