When do I stop being a Newbie?

Sorry if this is covered somewhere else but how do I change from being a Newbie to a regular member?

I know why this is implemented but just curious as to the criteria to stop being one.

I would also like to add a massive thanks to all the the people who post comps and you do such a good job I am finding it almost impossible to find any new competitions to post that you amazing people haven't already done :T

Cheers.

Your status changes according to the number of posts that you make. Not sure when the first change is, but you have a way to go yet :)

PMc, you are watching this thread and this little fella is watching you:

You will get your first star when you have posted 200 times. Second star is about 500 posts, third star is at about 750 posts and fourth star is at 2,000. 5th star is 10,000 posts. To get the full house (red rosettes) you need to have posted at least 50,000 times

To post links and not get the *newbie, bog off* message ;) you need about 20-25 posts. :)

I've only posted about 240 times but I seem to remember that it didn't take long to go from being a Newbie to a Convert, and then to a Stalwart, so you won't be a Newbie for long. Just don't get carried away with posting as people take a dim view of of unnecessary 'bumps'.
