she has spent the last year trying to get her deposit back from a wicked landlady and she succeeded this week in court !!!!!

SOOOOOOOOOOOOO many tenants and landlords have learnt SO much from this thread, and this young woman's grit, determination, guts, honesty and even in the most trying of circumstances, her honourable sense of fair play just shone thru this whole thread. Throughout the thread, we have watched her grow from a frightened, baffled, unconfident employee to a woman with determination who is now running her own business !!!!

if you have 3-4 hours to read the thread, it is an utttttttter inspiration

PLEEEEEEEEASE mods - please take a look - she REALLY really deserves recognition.

i wholeheartedly second clutton's nomination of eagerlearner's thread. it really is a victory for the consumer in this case. i feel the advice offered on the thread is testament to the communtiy at MSE, and although the thread was included in the email, i think it would be fitting for EL to be awarded the £50 as the result of her brave battle and perseverance is a true shining example of good ol' honest consumer revenge :T




plus she needs a new DVD player and she's skint after spending the fruits of her labour on lobster and vino
