Oooof, theres one an online auction site and its over £70. Some are cheap some are dear, you dont really have a choice.
Call a few motor factors, they will give a price over the phone, call a Honda dealer, they will than likely be more but will give you a comparison."Dream World" by The B Sharps....describes a lot of the posts in the Loans and Mortgage sections !!!0 -
Wife's 2004 Suzuki Ignis had similar issue. Turn ignition on, all dashboard indicator lights illuminated (normal), then all go out when engine started (normal). Drive a few yards, ABS lamp illuminates and
stays on until engine is turned off. Diagnostic code says faulty ABS sensor or component. Jacked front of car up, inspected ABS wires etc.(OK). Turned each wheel manually, using a torch, discovered a
cracked ABS sensor ring on front RH hub. This looks like a many toothed cog surrounding the wheel hub. It's teeth pass within a mm of the ABS sensor. Replacement of this ring solved problem.
I replaced the sensor ring myself, though partial dissassembly of RH front suspension was required. Not the easiest DIY job. If this proves answer to be your problem, garage may try talking you into
replacing entire hub rather than the ring alone, depends on car make, cost of parts etc. All 4 wheels will have a similar sensor.0 -
not knowing the connectors, for test purposes and driving up the driveway for testing, could you not swap wires or make a harness on the brake brain electronics side so the left becomes right, and right becomes left. If it is a faulty sensor or wire then the fault should move. If it does not move then abs electronics are duff0
