Money for coming off benefits

Is there any money you can claim if you find and manage to hold down a job over a certain length of time and come off benefits. I thought I had heard of something a while back that if you can hold a job down for a year or something similar, I am currently on Employment and Support allowance

Isn't what DLA is for too? You can't compared it by saying that the altermative would be to pay for work programme so they are making a saving, so they should get extra help. Similarly, you could say that all those working would be on JSA if they were not and so should be getting something too as they are really saving money to the nation...
