  • Hello and welcome to the forums. Please start your own thread as hijacking someone else's thread just causes confusion. Thanks.
I'm a retired employment solicitor. Hopefully some of my comments might be useful, but they are only my opinion and not intended as legal advice.

I've also recently started receiving PCN requests from TCN Parking Services.. probably had 4 or 5 letters from the beginning of September.

Trying to "fine" me for my vehicle being parked within a secure/locked parking yard owned by the garage my vehicle was left with for a few days to get some work done.

I spoke to the garage about it and they said ignore these letters as they have no right which clearly is the case.

I've ignored everything so far but if it continues / gets more frequent would it be worthwhile doing what someone previously did and state the intention to invoice them for any further letters received?

I saw someone on a programme did a similar thing and that seemed to halt the harassment!

    Cheers!

Welcome to the forum but this thread is out of date (2012) and the advice has NOT been to ignore fake PCns for several months. To read current advice about appealing what sounds like very late Notices from TNC (typical!), please see my signature below. Current advice was one click away all the time!

You actually need to complain again to the garage manager further because his advice is wrong in 2013.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
