Ah, well spotted. I my mind thought it was the built in tool bar in firefox, think you just press f11 0 -
i realise the embarrassment of being so useless should stop me asking !!
it's not the actual toolbar i've now realised (well,i think)
it's a whole page "MyStart by Incredibar"

Not knowing which browser you use, are you sure that it is ALL still there, and not just the search window has changed from the usual google to now MyStart. It could be a an unistallation advert page too?

Sounds to me like the homepage has been changed by the malware.

OK, click on the tools menu item and select Options.
At the top of the dialog box it should say Homepage with a textbox beside it. In the textbox put "http://www.google.co.uk" or whatever your normal homepage is then click on OK.
That should sort it provided you've followed the other steps and removed the malware.0
