    Aldi for us. It is pollock but I am not a cod snob. We have then about twice a month with jckt spud, coleslaw and baked beans or sweetcorn as a lazy dinner. Boys like them with tinned spaghetti (which is wrong in so many way in my opinion)
  • I like most fish fingers, but won't be buying Iceland's own brand anymore, they taste horrible.

    I only buy cod fillet fish fingers - but considering you get 58% fish for nearly £6 per kg you'd be better of buying unadulterated frozen cod at £8 a kg...

    However if you are doing it on ethical/ eco reasons then you really need to think about sustainability, pollution from farmed fish etc etc

  • I really like Sainsburys basics, they're pollock & as nice as more expensive pollock fish fingers.
  • I had fish fingers for dinner tonight as I don't eat spag bol and that is what I'd made the boys in the house ( hubby and 7 year old) can't beat yummy battered fish fingers with waffles and bean felt like a kid again!
  • mmmmmmmmmm fish finger butty - cotton wool bread with butter spread and a little ketchup, yep that's what i'll do on saturday after work - num num.
