Phone insurance

Hi

i was hoping someone mite be able to help me. i recently changed my current account and noticed a direct debit for insurance. after investigating it was phone insurance that i never new i had and i have been paying £10 every month since 2005. they never contacted me to keep me informed regarding the cover and i never realised i had it. would it be possible to claim it back?

    Why has it taken you eight years to notice this direct debit? How was the insurance mis-sold to you? Are you saying the insurance was somehow not suitable for you?

    This is not PPI. You can't just demand a refund because you can't remember taking the insurance and you haven't claimed on it...

    You can ask them nicely if they'll refund your money, bu really, the onus is on you to check what you're paying and cancel anything that isn't suitable.

    they might, it's not unheard of. Unlikely though....
