Toshiba TV and a Wii

Hi
was wondered if anyone can help.
I have a Toshiba TV we have tried on many occasions to attach the Wii to it.Ive looked at over forums and this is the info given

On the back of the TV, do you see the red and white audio ports? Connect the red and white cables from the Wii to those. To the left of those two is a column of three ports. Plug the yellow cable into the top port.

Edit: After that, open the "Preferences" menu and switch "AV Input" from "ColorStream HD" to "Video

I have tried to do this but 1 the other ports are directly above and 2nd i cant see anywhere to change preferences to video.
Does anyone have any ideas?:)

Do i plug the color coded leads into a scart adaptor,what channel do i put it onto?:)

Just try either one, will be between 1 or 2

Which ports are you using

i used the red and white ports and put the over lead in the top port of the 3 above as per instructions in my 1 st post.:)

Keep pressing the SOURCE button until it is on EXT-1S ... that looks the most likely.

Those top 3 ports are for a component cable, which has 5 connections. Your using an av cable with 3 connections.

If the port above the RED & WHITE is a YELLOW port, then plug the yellow connector from the wii into that yellow port. So use the red, white and yellow connector on the tv, then use the input selection window to select ext 1 or ext 2 or av. (book isnt very clear, says fav but thinks it may be just av)

Don't know about yours, but we have an input list on ours and just switch it to external.
