You'll possibly only find this if you do a single fuel (electricity) comparison. In my experience with the Cheap Energy Club this doesn't show up because it doesn't sell gas (and for gas it doesn't show Better Energy for the reason it doesn't sell electricity!).

I've joined up (from Ebico) with high hopes (and a 25% reduction in price). It's small, it's green, it's even giving out free shares! No cashback (of course, silly!) but no penalties for leaving. As I've said about Better Energy, we'll see...

They sent me a bill within 3 weeks of taking supply and a revised one just after that with an estimated reading that had no relevance to consumption.
Therefore, no more or less dishonest than any other energy company as they bill on what they think I should consume rather than what I factually use.
