Barclaycard OMG!!

In today's post I had a letter from Barclaycard saying that my APR is going up from 21.9% to 25.9% which isn't the end of the world, but any increase is a bad thing...
No missed or late payments, and well within my limit.
A few weeks ago I read Martin's Credit Card Shuffle guide, specifically
So I thought I would give it a try.
Initially I didn't get much luck, but maybe crucially they couldn't tell me why the increase was happening. So, I sent a 'Secure' message to them from my online account, complaining, and saying I wanted to reduce the APR not increase it. They have just called back, and offered me an APR of 13.9%, cancelled the increase, and credited my account by £20 for the inconvenience!:j
Once again MSE saves me money. Thanks :money:
