Anyone know where scanner sheet feeder option has gone???

I've been using a Lexmark 5500/6600 printer/scanner to scan my paperwork throu at work using the sheet feeder

i have been using generic windows printer/scanner app to connect to the scanner

It was working fine all morning

half way thru the day i hooked up to the scanner and the option to choose sheetfeeder/flatbed has disappeared???

print quality options are still visible - just no source: feeder/flatbed option

I cant scan my paperwork thru without using sheet feeder

Anyone know where scanner sheet feeder option has gone???

Serious question. Do ever bother to find out the solution before posting here.

Shouldn't this be posted in the printer section, not techie.

Try uninstalling the printer then reinstalling with drivers that should bring it back to what it is.

Deleted and reinstalled the printer but still no sheetfeeder option

I think its gone for good - cant think what i did to make it disappear

Im going to try a different scanner ap tomorrow (MS Office) and see if that can find it
