This is a money saving website.

It is spammed constantly with UW salesmen who talk, frankly, nonsense about UW gas and electricity prices; and I am certainly anti UW in that practice.

Why not read(and understand!) the small print on the worthless 'guarantee' - including the Gold Packages - and see just what they are guaranteeing!

You should really continue your sales patter in this thread:

https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/2473547 try reading post #3095 if you want further information on the 'double gold' guarantee.

Lastly of course MSE have a vested interest in people switching - that is made quite clear.

And here we have it... today's latest news coverage explaining how the consumer is losing out via energy bill switching services like MSE:

    bit ly 1e0j0Gf

MSE should really be looking at how to give its readers a better deal. Utility companies too.

This is not news from today. It is an established and known phenomenon. Of course the brown envelopes are paid out of end-user prices.

It is outrageous that Ofgem kitemark sites that do not by default list all tariffs that are available. Other than that at least consumers do now have access to the cash themselves. This is not a news story.

And I do not understand why this was posted to this thread - the issue affects all suppliers.

(And, as far as I can discern, Telecom Plus are not upfront with the commissions and trousering in which they indulge. And I see no adverts-supported service that allows their customers to share some of that commission, either.)
