Supporting evidence with ESA50?

When those nice people from atos used to send you an IB50 to fill out the enclosed letter said the following:-
"Please only return the enclosed form IB50 IB QUESTIONAIRE to the address at the top of this letter as soon as you can but no later than xx/xx/xxxx.
Medical certificates or any other documents must be sent directly to the office that deals with your claim. Do not enclose them with form IB50"
Claimants are now always being told that you should if you can send in letters etc. from your GP/Consultant/HCP to back up your claim. Does this mean with your ESA50?
If so taking what was said above with respect to sending back the old IB50 have the procedures changed?

No, the procedure has not changed. The old letter was misleading - I *think* it meant do not attach other documents for the JCP (other benefit forms etc), as it was good practice to submit your own evidence for IB also.0
