Lidl seeds back for 2013 yay!
Lidl seeds show on the website as being in from thurs-they are oddly listed under the valentines day tab lol. So you can buy a sexy nightie alongside your veggie seeds rofl.
Basic packs are 29p or 2 packs for 50p (these are the smaller packets), the bigger seed packs (normally beans/peas/sunflowers etc) are 49p or 5 for £2 and the premium range (seed discs/seed tapes etc) are £1.49 or 2 for £2.
Lidl are also doing some house plants and primroses as well, but not a full blown gardening event as such just yet.

Thanks alibobsy, will look out for them when next in there. :cheers:Grocery Challenge for October: £135/£200

I grew their dwarf wax beans last year - only thing that went mad on the allotment and outstripped the runners! Still got loads in the freezer. Couldn't keep up with them. Well worth the 29p or whatever!Well behaved women rarely make history.0

Thanks. Popped into Aldi yesterday and picked up some sweet peas and cucumber seeds for 30p a pack.0

Are these seeds any good will they grow in horse manure? I only ask because I want stable seeds and thought hay I might give them a go but don't want to gallop into the unknown. The only hurdle is that the store is some way to travel but I may trot up there if this rein holds off a bit.;)0

Posted this on the cheap seeds thread then thought it might be of use to those following this thread :
I bought some Lidl seeds and it appears they still have some of last years stock which they are putting at the front of their carousel displays. Look a little further back and you will find the new packet design, it has a manila tag with the plant name printed on the front and a longer sow by date.
There also appears to be a printing mistake. There are packs which are labelled runner beans with a picture of French beans and the growing instructions are for climbing French beans. The beans are white and too small to be runner beans. I think they must be climbing French beans as their dwarf beans this year are a variety called Saxa.0 -
